[VibeDefend] Emergency Switch: Push a Rule to Every Agent in One Minute
A compromised npm package is announced at 10:00. At 10:01, your security team blocks its installation on every agent of every developer in the organization. The emergency switch pushes a guard or rule to all agents at once, and can put the whole organization in restrictive mode during an incident. Supply chain response goes from hours of Slack messages to a single action.
[VibeDefend] Organization-Wide Rules & Guards
Write a rule once, apply it everywhere. Platform and security teams define business rules and guards at the organization or team level, such as “never store secrets in environment variables, use Vault” or “logs must never contain PII”, and every project inherits them automatically. Each project can still override or disable an inherited rule when needed, just like security rules today. For an organization with hundreds of repositories, that’s one configuration instead of hundreds.
[VibeDefend] Security Receipt for Every Agent PR
Every pull request written by an agent gets a VibeDefend check summarizing the coding sessions behind it: rules injected, guards triggered, diff scans run and findings fixed. Reviewers see at a glance how the code was produced and verified, which speeds up review, and you keep auditable evidence for SOC 2 and other compliance frameworks.
[VibeDefend] Remote Human Approval for Sensitive Zones
Today an agent action is either allowed or blocked. Approval mode adds a third option: sensitive actions trigger a request to the zone’s owner on Slack or in the dashboard. Think CODEOWNERS for agents: define who approves changes to infra/, database migrations or kubectl commands against production. The agent is told approval has been requested, and once it’s granted, retries with a one-time authorization. Give your agents more autonomy, fully autonomous ones included, without losing control of critical zones.
[VibeDefend] Boy Scout Mode: Agents Shrink Your AppSec Backlog
Leave every file cleaner than you found it. When an agent edits a file, VibeDefend also hands it the open CybeDefend AppSec findings on that file, up to three at a time, excluding ignored findings and false positives, so the agent fixes them while it’s there. Your security backlog goes down with every coding session, without a dedicated security sprint, and the dashboard tracks how many findings your agents have fixed.
[VibeDefend] Custom Agent Frameworks Support
Extends VibeDefend beyond coding agents to the agents your teams build themselves. VibeDefend plugs into Claude Agent SDK, OpenAI Agents SDK, Google ADK and LangChain v1 / LangGraph through each framework’s native extension points (hooks, callbacks, middleware). Your security policies are enforced on every agent run: Action Guard inspects and blocks dangerous tool calls, MCP connections go through the MCP Security Proxy, tool outputs are checked for prompt injection, and every agent, tool and MCP server appears in the Agent Inventory, with the same policies and dashboards as your coding agents.
[VibeDefend] Cloud Agents Support
VibeDefend already protects Claude Code, Cursor and GitHub Copilot on your machine. This extends the same coverage to their cloud versions: Claude Code cloud sessions, Cursor Cloud Agents and GitHub Copilot cloud agent. Cloud agents run unattended in remote environments and open pull requests on their own, with no developer watching each step, which makes guardrails even more critical. Business and security rules are injected into the agent’s context, Action Guard inspects and blocks dangerous tool calls, and every change is scanned before the pull request is opened, with the same policies and dashboards as your local agents.
[VibeDefend] Factory.ai Integration
Brings VibeDefend protection to Factory’s Droids, its AI coding agents. Business and security rules are injected into the agent’s context at generation time, Action Guard inspects and blocks dangerous tool calls, and every change the agent makes is scanned, with the same policies and dashboards as your other agents.
[VibeDefend] Business Logic Analysis in Scan Diff
Every change an agent makes during a coding session is checked against your application’s business logic, not just against technical vulnerability patterns. Powered by BLSA, Scan Diff detects when a diff breaks an authorization rule, bypasses a payment or validation step, exposes another tenant’s data or introduces an exploitable workflow transition, and flags it in the session diff, with the business rule it violates, before the change is merged.
[VibeDefend] Agent Access Map & Guardrail Coverage
An AI coding agent can reach almost everything its user can: repositories and files, secrets and environment variables, shell commands, network access, cloud credentials, MCP servers and skills. VibeDefend models this full access surface for each agent and overlays your active guardrails (security rules, Action Guard policies, MCP Security Proxy) to show exactly what is covered and what is not. Uncovered areas are highlighted and prioritized by risk, with recommendations to close each gap.
[VibeDefend] Agent-Installed Dependency Analysis
Coding agents install packages on their own, and they don’t always pick well. Every dependency added during an agent coding session is analyzed in Scan Diff to detect slopsquatting (malicious packages registered under names LLMs tend to hallucinate), malicious packages reported in OSV or CybeDefend’s threat intelligence database, end-of-life libraries and unmaintained projects. Risky dependencies are flagged directly in the session diff.
[VibeDefend] Security Reports for AI-Assisted Development
Generate reports on the security of code written with AI agents, per project or for the whole organization: agents and users covered, MCP servers and skills in use with their risk level, actions blocked by Action Guard, vulnerabilities found in agent-generated code and their remediation time. Export as PDF, JSON or HTML to share with your CISO, auditors or customers.
[VibeDefend] JetBrains Junie CLI Integration
Brings VibeDefend protection to Junie CLI, the command-line version of JetBrains’ coding agent. Business and security rules are injected into the agent’s context at generation time, Action Guard inspects and blocks dangerous tool calls, and every change the agent makes is scanned, with the same policies and dashboards as your other agents.
[VibeDefend] OpenCode Integration
Brings VibeDefend protection to OpenCode, the open-source terminal coding agent. Business and security rules are injected into the agent’s context at generation time, Action Guard inspects and blocks dangerous tool calls, and every change the agent makes is scanned, with the same policies and dashboards as your other agents.
[VibeDefend] Google Antigravity Integration
Brings VibeDefend protection to Google Antigravity, Google’s agent-first development platform. Business and security rules are injected into the agent’s context at generation time, Action Guard inspects and blocks dangerous tool calls, and every change the agent makes is scanned, with the same policies and dashboards as your other agents.
[VibeDefend] Agent Skills Security Audit
Skills extend what your coding agents can do, and they run with the agent’s permissions: a single malicious skill can turn your agent against your own codebase. This audit scans every skill your agents load, both instructions and bundled scripts, to detect hidden or obfuscated instructions (invisible Unicode characters, encoded payloads), prompt injection and instruction override attempts, secret and data exfiltration (reads of .env files, SSH keys or credentials, calls to unknown domains), dangerous commands and persistence mechanisms, permissions broader than the skill’s stated purpose, and suspicious changes between versions. Each skill gets a risk verdict, and untrusted skills can be blocked before your agent uses them.
[AppSec] Outdated and End-of-Life Component Detection
Extends SCA to flag outdated and end-of-life components across your codebase and dependencies. CybeDefend tracks version history, security advisories and vendor lifecycle data to warn you before a component stops receiving security patches, and prioritizes upgrades by risk.
[VibeDefend] MCP Security Proxy
VibeDefend sits as a proxy between your coding agents and the MCP servers they connect to, and inspects the traffic in real time, with no change needed on the servers themselves. Known threats: MCP servers reported as malicious in the OSV database or in CybeDefend’s own threat intelligence database are blocked automatically, before your agent can connect to them. Phase 1, tool descriptions: every tool exposed by a server is analyzed before the agent sees it, to detect tool poisoning (hidden instructions in descriptions or parameter schemas), tool name shadowing across servers, and descriptions that change after being approved (rug pulls). Phase 2, tool responses: outputs returned to the agent are inspected for indirect prompt injection, instruction override attempts and sensitive data leakage. Suspicious tools and responses are blocked or sanitized, and every event is logged for review.
Risk-based prioritization (CybeRisk Score)
The Risk Score system (0–100) is evolving to integrate new key criteria: identified vulnerabilities (findings), reachability, business sensitivity, and exposure level. Furthermore, an AI-generated weekly brief will be introduced to highlight the 'Top 10 Priorities' and justify their significance across all projects.
Coding Agent Sandbox Policy
Addition of a second policy system, read in real-time by coding agents via Vibedefend, to specify forbidden patterns (no eval, no child_process.exec, no plain SQL), pre-approved dependencies only, and a 'no plaintext secrets' rule. BEFORE every write operation, the agent (Cursor/Claude Code) receives an allow|deny|warn status for the code action it is currently performing.
